Hi, I’m Ben. I recently earned an MFA in Three-Dimensional Design from the University of Iowa—a program that expands beyond traditional industrial design to include interior, architectural, and product design, all grounded in hands-on machine work and prototyping.

My graduate work focuses on designing for the outdoors, where strict functional requirements demand both technical precision and rugged durability. I specialize in the design and fabrication of soft goods, with deep roots in bicycles and bicycle culture—an area that continues to shape both my process and perspective.
